sycor acquires Canadian consulting company “Business Connection”

sycor builds on its constant growth in Europe and Asia with a major move in the North American market

SYCOR U.S. Inc. today completed its acquisition of Business Connection America Group Inc. (“ BC”), the Canadian SAP consulting firm based in Montréal, Québec.

Manish Bahl, Managing Director of SYCOR U. S. Inc., announced, “This acquisition builds on our international strength in SAP consulting for the Chemicals, Process and Healthcare industries, as well as representing a major step forward for us in the areas of Business Intelligence and SAP Education services.”

“BC’s expertise and industry experience complement ours very well”, added Jim Marczak, President and CEO of SYCOR  U. S. Inc. “It is an added bonus that sycor and BC have worked hand-in-hand on several common projects in the recent past and this fact will make our integration very smooth indeed for us and for our customers.”

According to sycor group Co-founder and Managing Director Dr. Marko Weinrich, the reasons for the acquisition are not only the business expertise of BC’s in information technology consulting but also their extensive successful international experience in working with enterprises in the plastics industry in Canada and in the United States. Dr. Weinrich added, “With this move, sycor expands our present activity and strategic growth in Germany, the United States, Singapore and China to include Canada, which is very attractive to us and important in our niche markets.”
